Personal Message:
I believe in making a positive impact on every student at St John Bosco. Student wellbeing is my fundamental priority. I successfully build positive and trusting relationships through clear and effective communication, empathy and confidentiality. I am passionate and driven to ensure the diverse needs of every student are met in an inclusive and nurturing environment. I believe that every student is capable of success and feel privileged to be part of their learning journey.
Area of Responsibility:
As Assistant Principal, I play a vital role in ensuring that the SCS values of empathy, excellence, truth, curiosity and collaboration are drivers for establishing a thriving Catholic community. I am committed to working closely with staff to ensure the best pedagogical practice and professional performance with the aim to boost learning growth across the entire school community.
Professional Experience and Qualifications:
Prior to my time at St John Bosco, I was Assistant Principal at St Mary’s Catholic Primary school in Erskineville (2014 – 2022) and a Curriculum Coordinator at St Catherine Laboure Gymea (2011 – 2013).
I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from Australian Catholic University, a certificate in Religious Education from Australian Catholic University and a Bachelor of Education & Teaching (Primary) from the University of Wollongong. I also have a mini-certificate in Gifted Education and further studies in this field.
Professional Interests:
Using the creative arts and educational technology across all key learning areas to immerse students in engaging and purposeful experiences that spark interest, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
